Planning for SIPs
Delivery & Jobsite
Panel Source can schedule delivery with an independent freight company for delivery. Pages two and three sent with the Contract of Sale provide a detailed overview concerning panel delivery. We strongly encourage you to review this document again a few days before delivery to ensure you are ready to receive the product.
The truck that delivers the panels is an independently contracted full-sized flatbed semi. Please be aware that if there are access restrictions or limitations, that the truck may need to be unloaded away from the construction site and then brought in smaller loads.
Once the truck arrives, the trucking company allows for two hours of unloading (additional time results in additional charges). Off-loading can be done by hand, but is easier if a forklift (or crane) is used. If unloading by hand, please plan on having a crew to make sure this can be done quickly and safely.
While unloading and prior to signing for the panels, please carefully inspect all panels and take inventory of what has been delivered. Have the driver note any damage before he leaves. Please notify Panel Source, Inc. immediately if there is damage or anything missing so we can resolve the problems as quickly as possible.
