The Estimate

To complete a project estimate, we need plans that show wall lenghts and heights as well as roof dimensions and slope. The materials needed is not based on the footprint of the project (unless they are floor panels), and plans may be emailed if they are a DWG or PDF format.

Our project coordinator will provide a project estimate typically within five business days. The more detailed your plans, the more accurate the estimate will be. We provide one free estimate for a project and ask for a deposit or estimate fee (rolled into final package price if purchased) for revisions.

The estimate is delivered to the client along with the terms and conditions of the sale. The estimate describes quanities of materials, services included, an estimate of freight charges, and a general description of what was included and excluded from the estimate. It is very important to review the estimate to ensure proper panel thicknesses and correct areas of your project were included so that the estimate is accurate.

The estimate is not a firm price. We are not able to give you a firm price until later in the process when shop drawings are completed and we know all of the materials that will be used in your project. Prior to that point, we are estimating the materials we think will be used.

The price in the estimate and final contract of sale is based on a fixed pricing list determined by Premier Building Systems. It is the same price we give to everyone with the same project size and type. For clients with large projects, we often offer a volume-based discount. You do not have to worry that you're not getting the best price - this is not like buying a used car. We offer great pricing and consistently beat other panel dealers.

To proceed with the project, we need a signed agreement with terms and conditions, project deposit, completed project information sheet (our coordinator can help you complete this), and the current set of plans.
