Q: What if I just want engineering or design services without panels?

A: When we prepare a project, it is typically for panels and accessories, which excludes engineering unless it is specifically requested. We use Maple Brook Engineering to complete either component (SIPs only) engineering or EOR (engineer of record - the full project). If you are looking for engineering only, we suggest contacting Maple Brook Engineering, Inc. directly to obtain a quote. Thier pricipal engineer is licensed in Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Idaho, Nevada, Oregon, and Washington. Unlike most dealers and distributors, we do not mark up engineering fees, but only arrange engineering for projects where we provide panels.

We do not typically offer design services for project where we do not provide panels simply because we often do not have the time available in our drafting team's schedule. However, winter is generally a slower time of year, and we may be able to accommodate residential design requests during this time. Typically, we suggest selecting a design professional that has been referred to you and is local to your project.
